Long-Range Solid-State Scanning LiDAR Sensor

SolidVue’s long-range LiDAR sensors (SL-2.0 & SL-2.1) are fully compatible with solid-state LiDAR systems.
Our sensor
s have a 2-dimensional SPAD pixel array, column-parallel TDCs, and processing logic in a single chip.

Key Features

  • Long-range detection: 128 m (SL-2.0) / 150 m (SL-2.1)

  • 2-dimensional SPAD pixel array

  • Column-parallel Multi-event TDCs

Mid-Range Scanning CMOS LiDAR Sensor

SolidVue’s scanning LiDAR sensors (SL-1.0, SL-1.1) offer reliable TOF measurements even in noisy environments with strong IF.
Our sensor exhibits essential features, including multi-event recording, on-chip histogramming, and inter-LiDAR IF filtering in a single chip.

Key Features

  • Long-range detection: 48 m (SL-1.0) / 64 m (SL-1.1)

  • On-chip Histogramming for noise-free depth imaging

  • Multi-event recording per ToF measurement for noise-free depth imaging

  • Power consumption < 180 mW

Flash CMOS LiDAR Sensor

SolidVue’s CMOS solid-state flash-type LiDAR sensor (GL-1.0, GL-1.1, GL-1.2) provides a reliable 3-D depth map of target objects placed within a 10-m distance. Each pixel incorporates a zoom histogramming time-to-digital converter (TDC) to combine a coarse time delay measurement with a fine extraction of phase difference, extending the TDC resolution from 7-b to 13-b without generating a GHz-level clock signal. The coarse TDC decides only 1-b of the time-of-flight (ToF) value by the binary search manner, eliminating large memories for histogramming and occupying a small area. Since all pixels extract depth information simultaneously, our LiDAR doesn’t require any scanning equipment, making it suitable for mobile/AR/VR devices.

Key Features

  • Short/Mid-range detection: 10 m

  • Resolution: 48x40 (GL-1.0) / 80x60 (GL-1.1) / 100x75 (GL-1.2)

  • Per-pixel zoon-histogramming TDC

Time-of-Flight (TOF) CMOS Image Sensor

SolidVue’s TOF CMOS image sensors (LT-1.0, LT-1.1, LT-1.2) offer low-power TOF measurements with high precision for sub-5m detection range even in outdoor applications with strong sunlight.

Our sensor exhibits essential features, including
sunlight suppression, motion artifact suppression, and fixed-depth-noise reduction in a single chip. Therefore, SolidView’s sensor can be successfully applicable to the mobile and wearable devices with strong sunlight immunity and low energy consumption.

Key Features

  • Short-range detection: 5 m

  • On-chip sunlight suppression (LT-1.0)

  • Motion artifact suppression (LT-1.0, LT-1.2)

  • Low power consumption under 70 mW (LT-1.1)

  • Fixed-depth-noise reduction (LT-1.1)
